While website management didn't always give me a byline, the work touched every part of digital journalism.

HOSTING, PRODUCING

Starting in 2008, I changed the Studio805.tv website to be only features. I shot, hosted and edited two three shows per week plus producing and editing two others from the studio.

DAILY NEWSCAST

The Studio805 webcast was groundbreaking and widely discussed in the industry. It lasted about 18 months.
I did every part of this 5-day-per-week newscast. I wrote the script, worked the camera and editing the video.

VIDEO STORYTELLING

Created all parts of this video include motion graphics and music. I regularly reported on breaking news and features through video for Studio805 or the general VCStar.com site.

PHOENIX — The view from coastal California is rather bleak.

A scorched city in the desert, the definition of suburban sprawl, full of over-air-conditioned strip malls and Midwestern retirees escaping the snow. Houses are cheap for a reason.
